1987 GM TC40-102N "Classic" (871-873)

These buses came into the Sudbury Transit fleet after the amalgamation in 2001. They were formerly owned by Capreol Bus Lines, later Northway Bus Lines. These buses ran between Val Caron, Hanmer and Capreol, then to downtown Sudbury to connect with other bus lines including Sudbury Transit. Only one bus, 871, was ever painted in the City of Greater Sudbury scheme, the other 2 kept their Northway markings until retirement in 2009. These buses featured the Detroit Diesel 6V71N engine and Allison V731 transmission.
