1995 New Flyer D40LF (954-955)

These 1995 New Flyer D40LF's were originally part of the Town of Rayside Balfour . They were numbered 59B (954) and 60B (955). They eventually became part of the Greater Sudbury Transit fleet in 2001 due to the amalgamation. The only difference between the City of Sudbury and Rayside buses were the color of the seats, the city had grey with green, while the Rayside buses had bright blue. All buses in this series have been rebuilt however 955 is now retired from service and has been sold to the Emergency Services department. These D40LF's feature the Detroit Diesel S50 engine and Allison World B400R transmission.
